Most of the Achievements for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions are fairly easy, and simply require players to win the various cups and upgrade certain things. However, some other Trophies require players to play all four Quidditch roles and use their unique abilities in specific ways.
One of these harder Achievements is called Playcaller, and its description reads as follows: Save a shot on goal from a Chaser you recently debuffed. Unfortunately, this isn't too clear and many players are left wondering how they can debuff Chasers. This is where the Playcaller Ring Slow skill for Keepers comes in handy.
Quidditch Champions: Achievement/Trophy Guide
There are 31 Achievements & 32 Trophies in Quidditch Champions, and this is how to unlock them.
The Playcaller Ring Slow Skill For Keepers In Quidditch Champions
Skill points in Quidditch Champions are unlocked by leveling up and can be used to improve any position. As with any role, these 18 skills are split into 3 trees of 6 for Keepers, and it is the Teamwork tree that is of interest for this Trophy.
If you don't have any skill points available, temporarily remove them from another role, and assign them to your Keeper for this Achievement.
The 6th Teamwork skill is called Playcaller Ring Slow. With this equipped, Playcaller Rings will slow enemy players by 20%. This is what is meant by debuffing opponents.
The rest of the Teamwork skills help by decreasing the cooldown of these Rings, which are primarily used to give teammates speed and energy boosts.
How To Unlock The Playcaller Achievement/Trophy In Quidditch Champions
Now that players can slow down Chasers with their Playcaller Rings, it's time to put it into practice and get the Playcaller Achievement/Trophy.
Players will want to choose a lower difficulty so that the opposing Chasers don't try to dodge these rings and this will also give themselves a better chance of saving the shots. It can be a good idea to try this out in the Keeper Training Match at the Weasley's Burrow.
Momentarily take control of the Chasers and lose possession on purpose to give the opposition more chances to attack.
To unlock the achievement, players will want to use their Playcaller Rings when the opposing team has possession. When a Chaser is halfway up the field with the Quaffle, this is the time to deploy them. Simply aim for their path and hope for the best.
Quidditch Champions: How To Cancel Charged Up Passes & Shots
There's an interesting way to cancel shots & passes in Quidditch Champions, and it even works as a combo to confuse the enemy.
The Circle Tactic
One tactic for this Achievement is to circle round while placing the rings so that you end up facing your own hoops. This will create a minefield of rings in front of the hoops, meaning the oncoming Chaser is more likely to be slowed.
Once a Chaser has been slowed, it's now just down to saving their shot. Players can check out these Keeper tips for Quidditch Champions to improve their goal-defending skills.
