Quarantine Zone: The Last Check keeps players on their toes, making sure all infected survivors are culled and only the virus-free population in the camp remains. If you've carefully maintained a healthy economy in your camp and fulfilled the survivor quota, you'll have an opportunity to get one of the two endings for the Quarantine Zone: The Last Check.
How to Complete the Kids Aren't Alright Quest in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check
The Kids Aren't Alright quest in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check will require you to find a sixteen-year-old survivor who's a victim of cruelty.
Should You Leave or Stay at the Camp in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check? (Good Ending)
If players fulfill their quota, send zombies into the cage at least twice, and keep the Survivor block clean of infected, they'll receive the good ending for Quarantine Zone: The Last Check on Day 27. Our protagonist will receive a radio call from Major Rhodes congratulating them on completing their term at the camp.
The major will call our protagonist into the Garage area to discuss something important. A cutscene will play , where Major will reward players with a new golden handgun and offer them the opportunity to be reassigned to another position.
Once the cutscene ends, players must choose between leaving by boarding the chopper or staying at the camp by returning to their personal quarters.
What Happens If You Choose to Leave the Camp in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check
If players choose to head up to the helipad and interact with the chopper, they'll leave the camp, and credits will start to roll. This will mark the end of the Campaign, and players won't be able to continue being a checkpoint officer. This choice will also create a save for Day 27, in case you want to try making the choice again.
What Happens If You Choose to Stay at the Camp in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check
Alternatively, if you choose to head back to your sleeping quarters and sleep on the bed, the game will switch to Endless Mode, and you'll start from Day 28 onward.
This will not only let you continue being a checkpoint inspector in the game, but also let you try out the new handgun that the Major rewarded, acquire any missing collectibles, and complete any bulletin quests that you missed.
Regardless of the choice, players will unlock the Good Work, Son trophy/achievement after receiving this ending.
How to Get the Bad Ending for Quarantine Zone: The Last Check
Getting the bad ending is a lot simpler than the good, because you won't need to worry about quotas or any other requirements that much. All you need to do is simply avoid running out of money and failing to fulfill at least three quotas.
Make sure to reach Day 27 by following the instructions above, and you'll have a totally different interaction with the Major. He'll be furious with your performance and even try to aim at you for failing to fulfill your role at the camp. This will lead to the bad ending for the Quarantine Zone: The Last Check's campaign.
After receiving this ending, you'll be able to continue playing the game in an endless mode, but you won't be able to get any other endings unless you start a new save. Players also won't be receiving the golden handgun, which they would normally have received for the good ending.
Receiving the bad ending for Quarantine Zone: The Last Check will unlock the SNAFU trophy/achievement.
