The third-person battle royale title, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, has become one of the most popular shooter games to date. About a week ago, PUBG officially added War Mode to the iOS and Android versions of the game, and this week, PUGB further announced that a Mission: Impossible – Fallout event will also be coming to mobile versions of the game in celebration of the latest M:I movie. While players enjoy the latest updates to the game on their mobile devices, Xbox One owners can now buy the Xbox One version of the game for only $12.

Usually, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds costs $29.99 on the Microsoft Store, but as of today, the game is offered at a steep 60 percent discount, which amounts to as little as $12. There is no indication as to when the 60 percent discount will expire, so shooter fans that have not tried out PUBG before should get it at a discount while they still can. As always, players can choose to either request for the game to be shipped to their home address or pick it up it from a store.

This is, however, not the first time that the game has been discounted this year. Last month, PUBG also received a massive 33 percent discount after the game crossed a total of 400 million players worldwide across multiple platforms, including Steam, Xbox One, iOS, and Android since its launch as an Early Access title early last year. Earlier this year, Microsoft also offered PUBG for free with Xbox One X purchases after having a similar promotion in December of last year.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' and its popularity continues to grow, as the developers are continuing to make efforts to introduce new modes, maps and weapons into the game. With Xbox promising to reveal a new game mode that will be coming to PUBG for Xbox One at gamescom 2018 later this year, this is definitely a good time to get hold of the battle royale release.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds  is available now for Android and iOS mobile devices, as well as PC and Xbox One.
