To most players, Silvally is the unexpected star of Pokemon TCG Pocket's Extradimensional Crisis set. Despite the booster pack being themed around Ultra Beasts, it is a non-beast Colorless Pokemon that ended up stealing the spotlight.
Pokemon TCG Pocket: The Best Ultra Necrozma ex Deck
Pokemon TCG Pocket’s latest Promo-A card, Ultra Necrozma ex, has the potential to make mill a viable archetype in this new deck.
Several Silvally deck variants have surfaced since the set's release, but not all of them have made a strong impact on the meta. With that in mind, here are three of the best-performing Silvally decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket that are worth trying out.
The stats for each Silvally deck are based on current data from recent Pokemon TCG Pocket tournaments. They may vary slightly by the time you read this, as the meta is expected to shift in the coming weeks.

Silvally Card Overview
- Card Number: A3a 061
- Type: Colorless
- HP: 110
- ATK: 50–100
- ATK Cost: Two Colorless Energy
- Retreat Cost: One
- Text: If you played a Supporter card from your hand during this turn, this attack does 50 more damage.
- Expansion: Extradimensional Crisis
The A3a Silvally is a Colorless Pokemon that evolves from Type: Null. As a Stage 1, it needs two Energy to deal 50 damage. However, its effect includes a condition that doubles its damage: if you play a Supporter card before attacking, Silvally deals 100 damage instead of 50.
Most Consistent: Silvally-Rampardos

In the current metagame of Pokemon TCG Pocket, the Silvally and Rampardos alliance is considered the strongest. This duo has dethroned the reigning champions of the past two seasons, Giratina ex and Darkrai ex, becoming the most popular lineup in the PvP arena.
What sets this combination apart is its exceptional consistency. By running the Fossil-based Rampardos, the deck is guaranteed to open with Type: Null. On top of that, its draw power is boosted by Gladion, a Supporter that adds a random Type: Null or Silvally to your hand.
The Silvally-Rampardos Deck Strategy

- Start with Type: Null. Since there are no other Basic Pokemon in the deck, you're guaranteed to open with it.
- Evolve Rampardos on the Bench. Use Pokemon TCG Pocket's Rare Candy on Skull Fossil to speed up the evolution process.
- Deal 100 damage per turn with Silvally. (Play a Supporter card each turn to activate its boosted damage effect.)
- Use Rampardos as a revenge attacker if Silvally gets knocked out. Either retreat a damaged Silvally or let it fall, then bring in Rampardos to close out the match.

A creative way to take advantage of Silvally's quick build-up is by pairing it with Pokemon TCG Pocket's A2b Charizard ex. That particular variant features the Stoke move, which speeds up the build-up. When combined, Silvally and the A2b Charizard ex can begin dealing 100 to 150 damage early on—sometimes before the opponent has a chance to evolve or power up their main attacker.
The Silvally-Charizard ex combo is considered one of Pokemon TCG Pocket' s newest anti-meta decks. It has recently dominated two of the three top-tier decks: Solgaleo ex Shiinotic and Buzzwole ex Pheromosa. However, it struggles against Silvally Rampardos decks, which have won nearly 55% of their matchups.
The Silvally-Charizard ex Deck Strategy

- Ideally, open with Charmander.
- Evolve Charizard ex on in the Active Spot. Use Silvally as the secondary attacker on the Bench.
- Apply pressure with Charizard ex.
- Switch to Silvally to finish the opponent or stall.
You can also lead with Type: Null to apply early-game pressure while setting up the A2b Charizard ex on the Bench. However, this approach can make Charizard's Stoke ability less impactful or even redundant.

A fun synergy that's emerged with Silvally's rise in popularity is its pairing with two Lightning-type Pokemon: Oricorio and Zeraora. Oricorio is known for being a notorious wall against ex cards, while Zeraora acts as a lucky charm of sorts, accelerating Silvally's setup with its unique ability.
Recent Pokemon TCG Pocke t tournament data shows that the trio of Silvally, Zeraora, and Oricorio has been the strongest answer to the Solgaleo ex and Shiinotic meta, boasting an impressive 85% win rate against the Steel-Psychic lineup. It has also shown solid performance against the former meta-defining duo, Darkrai ex and Giratina ex, better known as DarkTina.
The Silvally-Zeraora Deck Strategy
- Start with Type: Null or Zeraora. The goal is to get Zeraora on the board before the first turn ends. Whether it's in the Active Spot or on the Bench, its ability will trigger and provide an extra Lightning Energy by the second round.
- Use Dawn to ramp up Silvally. Dawn lets you transfer Zeraora's bonus Energy to Silvally, enabling an early attack. As a Supporter card, she also boosts Silvally’s next hit by 50 damage.
- Stall with Oricorio. If the opponent is setting up an ex card, bring in Oricorio as a wall to slow them down. Use this window to chip in some damage if they're unable to retreat.
- Chip away at the opponent's HP. Silvally, Oricorio, and Zeraora don't hit hard individually, so winning requires smart switching and stacking small amounts of damage over time.

Tips for Building the Best Silvally Deck
Here are a few key tips for beginner Pokemon TCG Pocket players looking to make the most of Silvally decks:
Leave Room for Supporters
Limit your use of Item and Tool cards to make space for more Supporters. Without the right Trainer card balance, Silvally decks are more likely to brick.
Mind the Dead Cards
Supporters like Gladion and Professor's Research become unplayable when your deck is empty. This can be a problem when you need a Supporter to trigger Silvally's damage boost. If your only options are those two and you have no cards left, you'll miss the damage buff entirely.
Maximize Damage Output
Stack your deck with damage-boosting Supporters. Giovanni and Red are two of the best choices in the current meta for getting the most out of Silvally's attacks.
