Some gamers on PlayStation 5 can now claim a special gift for the holidays through the Sony console, but only certain users will be eligible. The Sony platform has offered plenty of unique perks for its legions of players throughout the holiday season, ranging from big sales on some of its hottest games to several smaller gifts. The PlayStation 5's holiday sale discounted a plethora of 2025's most popular games, like ARC Raiders and Battlefield 6, while Ghost of Yotei gave fans some special free avatars of its main characters. Now, Sony fans are getting another surprise present for a service featured on the console.

Beyond its array of games, Sony gives fans plenty more to do on the PlayStation 5, much like many other modern consoles. The device houses a full suite of services for fans to enjoy their favorite TV shows and movies, featuring popular streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and more. Sony even makes some music streaming services available through the PS5, with players able to listen to Apple Music and Spotify directly from the console. Sony's newest gift for the holiday season is giving fans the chance to claim a free trial of Apple Music for a limited time.
