Summary

  • 8 games are set to leave PlayStation Plus' game catalog on February 18.
  • PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers are granted access to a special game catalog, but new games are added and removed regularly.
  • Notable titles leaving the game catalog in February are The Outer Worlds, Tales of Arise, and Scarlet Nexus.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will lose access to eight more games in February 2025. While the PlayStation Plus Essential tier only allows subscribers to add three different games to their library each month, the service's Extra and Premium tiers give users access to a massive game catalog with plenty to choose from. Unfortunately, while new games are added to the catalog regularly, plenty of games are also removed.

For PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners, PS Plus has become an essential part of the console's requirements. Not only does it allow users to play multiplayer titles like Call of Duty online, but the service's Extra and Premium tier gives subscribers access to a whole host of different games at no extra charge. But, much like Xbox Game Pass, games are regularly removed from the service to make way for new additions. Some of the latest games removed from PS Plus back in January were Just Cause 3, Just Cause 4, Life is Strange, Resident Evil 2, and many more. Unfortunately, even more games are set to leave the service in the coming weeks.

As spotted by Wario64 on Twitter, eight more games will be leaving PS Plus on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. The games leaving the service in February are The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition, Tales of Arise, Tales of Zestiria, Tales of Symphonia Remastered, Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition, Outriders, Scarlet Nexus, and Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition. While these titles aren't considered the best games on PS Plus, the removal of The Outer Worlds and Tales of Arise is going to be a big loss for subscribers. Thankfully, there are still a few weeks left to play until they, along with the other aforementioned titles, are removed.

Games Leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium on February 18

  • The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition
  • Tales of Arise
  • Tales of Zestiria
  • Tales of Symphonia Remastered
  • Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition
  • Outriders
  • Scarlet Nexus
  • Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition

Although some of these titles will be a big loss for fans, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers received some big games back in January. Titles like God of War Ragnarok, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, Citizen Sleeper, and Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand were just some of the massive games added to the service. In total, 11 new titles were added to PS Plus, with undoubtedly the biggest addition being the smash-hit sequel to 2018's God of War, God of War Ragnarok.

For those only subscribed to the service's lowest tier, PS Plus had some big monthly games for January. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League led the charge, while Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe also joined the line-up. Unlike the Extra and Premium tiers' game catalogue, the new monthly games (which are available to all tiers) allows players to keep the titles forever, but they must be claimed before the next month's games are released.
