Summary

  • PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will lose access to 8 games in April 2025.
  • Titles such as Kena: Bridge of Spirits and Deliver Us Mars will be removed from the PS Plus game catalog next month.
  • New games were also recently added to the service, including EA Sports UFC 5 and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will once again be losing access to a handful of games in April 2025, with eight popular games set to leave the service next month. While there are plenty of new titles added to PlayStation Plus' lucrative game catalog each month, Sony also regularly removes various games after a certain period of time, with titles such as Kena: Bridge of Spirits and Deliver Us Mars becoming the latest games to be axed from the service.

There might be another set of games leaving the service next month, but the good news is that all PlayStation Plus subscribers have three new games to download for March 2025. On March 4, Sony added Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection to its line-up of games. However, as these three new titles are part of the monthly games giveaway, subscribers only have until March 31 to claim each one before they are gone for good. While the game catalog remains exclusive for Extra and Premium subscribers, each of the aforementioned games are also available to PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers.

The PS Plus monthly games lineup for March 2025 is almost here, and players can find out how much space will be needed for each of the diverse games.

On March 18, PlayStation Plus lost ten big games, including Resident Evil 3, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Mortal Kombat 11, and more. Unfortunately, Sony has now confirmed via its "last chance to play" section of the PlayStation Plus game catalog (spotted by Push Square) that even more smash-hit games will be leaving the service in April. Next month, fans will lose access to eight more games, including Animal Well, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, Deliver Us Mars, Miasma Chronicles, Stray Blade, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Slay The Spire, and Nour: Play With Your Food. All of these titles will be removed from the game catalog next month, which means fans need to act fast if they want to play any of them beforehand.

Those who are yet to jump into the aforementioned titles will be sad to learn of their removal, but Sony recently gave PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers even more games to check out. Earlier this week, PlayStation added massive titles such as EA Sports UFC 5, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy, and more to the game catalog. As for the titles exclusive to PS Plus Premium subscribers, three classic Armored Core games were added to the service, as well as Arcade Paradise VR for those with a PSVR2 headset.

While most of the benefits of PlayStation Plus revolve around video games and the ability to play multiplayer titles online, fans were recently reminded that PS Plus Premium allows subscribers to stream a plethora of different movies via the Sony Pictures Core app. The benefit is relatively unknown to most, but those who are subscribed to the Premium tier of PlayStation Plus can watch movies such as Snatch, District 9, Resident Evil: Afterlife, Ghost Rider, Harry Brown, and many more. In total, there are currently 95 different movies for subscribers to watch.
