The storage requirements of the games coming to the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus in June 2023 have been revealed, confirming the amount of free space users will need. PS Plus Extra subscribers will get a whole bunch of games this month, with titles like Far Cry 6, Inscryption, Soulstice, and more joining the service.PlayStation Game Size has revealed the total file sizes of these games, giving users a better idea about the amount of storage needed to install them. As expected, Far Cry 6 is the largest game coming to PlayStation Plus Extra this month, as its PS5 version requires 101.790 GB of storage. The PS4 edition is a bit larger, as it takes up 103.221 GB of space. Inscryption will require 2.229 GB and 7.321 GB on PS5 and PS4 respectively, while Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge takes up a bit over 1 GB on both PlayStation systems. The PS5 version of Elex 2 will need 25.573 GB of space, with 27.946 GB being required for its PS4 counterpart. Last year’s Soulstice needs 21.783 GB of storage while Killing Floor 2 and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided take up 47.861 GB and 40.751 GB respectively. Thief requires 20.130 GB of space, while MX vs ATV Legends and Redout 2 need 29.855 GB and 17.156 GB on PS5. Gamers will need 11.775 GB to install A Hat in Time, but the rest of the lineup doesn’t take up too much space.
Tacoma and Rogue Legacy 2 will need 2.406 GB and around 1 GB, with The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition taking up 4.830 GB of space. Carto will require 3.764 GB on PS4, but Forager needs just 300.5 MB of storage. Lonely Mountains: Downhill and The Wild at Heart take 1.607 GB and around 4.5 GB, with PS Plus Extra users on PS5 requiring 2.320 GB of space to play PAW Patrol Mighty Pups: Save Adventure Bay.
Coming to the final few games, My Friend Peppa Pig will need around 6.5 GB on PS4 and 1.3 GB on PS5, while DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace takes up just 1 GB on PS5. Dodgeball Academia and Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York will need around 1 GB and 6 GB respectively, with Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator requiring 1 GB of space on PS5. Overall, many games are coming to PS Plus Extra in June 2023, and users will not have to free up a ton of space to install most of them.
