Meh.. Given Square has been loosing money recently, maybe it would be good to take a step back from the super expensive AAA approach, and go back to basics a bit.
Create the best possible isometric style game, with elements of the newer titles but also strong elements of past.
I haven't enjoyed an FF title since 10. I couldn't get myself to ever finish 15 or 16, and even Rebirth I have very little interest to continue.
The large 3d open world maps with pointless quests are just a boring slog. The super intense visual ff16 battles are also a bit too much. Go back to focus on core mechanics, great story, great music, good environments, etc
