In my opinion it is a great game and voice acting being absent makes perfect sense to me as a person who enjoys voice acting it is one thing I always loved about pokemon that it didn't have it though the pop up text on the side of the screen was a poor choice it would have been better if it had just an alert sound but I do disagree with voice acting being needed and people complaining about graphics irrates me as they could have kept the pokemon games at the same graphics with the gamboy graphics the lesser graphics allows a more stable gameplay as rendering too much can cause worse preference problems
