Lynch's version was much more detailed and scope was all encompassing, the political line is much more faithful to Heberts books. The myopic Paul story is boring, tremendous, chani, tremendous, chani..etc....hardly anything regarding guild, emperor..very disappointed with the newer version...tvs children of Dune was superior to both
