I admit that maxing a character in WOTV feels like a chore, but they do have longevity and updates. In one of my Light teams I still use a Starlight Elena, and that unit was released back in 2021. She still carries me through a lot of content to this day

The problem with Brave Exvius is that they diverged from the original game with the Global Exclusive units, so in the end, Global and JP are two whole different games with two different metas, so maintaining the less profitable one was the obvious choice eventually. That is why I absolutely love that it's Spin off, War of the Visions is instead going completely just translating the JP one and not diverging from the original, so the maintenance costs are WAY lower.

Loved FFBE when it started, but it eventually lost it luster. The game had too much powercreep and a breakneck release schedule. Compare FFBE where units were powercrept in one or two months, with WOTV where one of my main units is from 2021
