I imagine it's both. Extremely low ratings because of angry conservatives mixed with just them going too hard on the real-life parallels when no one really wants to hear about it anymore. Even the left is tired of ragging on the convicted president. It's a matter of not knowing their audience and writing rather poorly.

It was always "woke". How could you be so dense as to not notice?

For the record, I don't like The Boys. I got tired of it around Season 3 because I didn't need another poorly-written reminder of the annoying orange and his fanbase shoved in my face and all the subtlety went out the window around that time when Homelander became a perfect stand-in for him.

But I dislike the show because it's poorly written. You dislike the show because it's making fun of you and your disgusting behavior and you're just now realizing you weren't smart enough to notice.

Don't feel bad, it's a common issue with the conservative right. You're largely uneducated and self-absorbed, so you don't typically have things like reading comprehension or media literacy. That's why you have Fox News, the people who constantly get sued and have to state outright in court that they don't consider themselves "news" because if they did, they'd be held to a higher standard.

I've already lost you because of the literacy problem. That's alright. I enjoyed pointing out your flaws anyway. Just like in real life, I don't really need you here to entertain myself.
