Disgaea 5 is peak indeed. 6 had a lot of intern problems during development and it shows, while Disgaea 7, although better than 6, still pales in comparrison to Disgaea 5. For those interested in starting, I suggest jumping right into Disgaea 5, and try Disgaea 4, its also really good
