I watched the dismal Christmas special. At the end, when Ruby appeared, I was actually surprised as I'd actually forgotten she existed. I then tried to remember a single memorable scene with her, or a character trait. I came up with nothing. Doctor Who for the modern age, the McDonald's of television. Flavourless, shallow, and easily forgotten.
