New RPG With 'Very Positive' Reviews Channels Classic Persona Games
Kyle yeah visually it’s awesome if you’re into old school Persona. I just don’t like that potential players are being misled to think the gameplay and story are like Persona. That’s just gonna cause disappointment even though Demonschool is such a good game on its own merit. The devs deserve so much so I’m hoping there’s at least a demo at some point.

I wouldn’t say it’s more like a puzzle game. The combat is no different from an RTS. It’s unique because you can plan your moves and see the result of your attacks before you actually begin your turn. It is true that there is no actual stats, exp, armor, weapons, etc. You get 2-3 attachment slots to place Abilities that you study over the course of the game, but that’s it as far as customization. If you a serious RPG gamer then you may not like the gameplay. It’s very basic and super easy to understand. I enjoy it because it’s a good mix of gameplay and story, but I do wish it had more RPG elements. The dialog can be very childish at times, but I give it a pass since it takes place in 1999.
I will say I can’t take any of these reviewers seriously because the game is nothing like Persona other than having the Social activities. That just tells me a lot of reviewers didn’t play more than a few hours. So if you like Persona, don’t buy this game just because of that. You’ll be disappointed.
Sorry for the long comment, I just really love this game and the Persona narrative just isn’t how the game is.
PS4 Gamer Buys Resident Evil 4 from GameStop, But There's a Big Problem

So what you’re saying is, you have no idea what you’re talking about. Since you were a store manager then you would know about “checking out” new games and that the company does not consider that to be “pre-owned”. It’s literally in the word, Pre-OWNED. Plastic does not magically make a game brand new. Did you discount the last new copy of games? Since that would be the display copy did you fraudulently convert them to preowned? You also don’t know what you’re talking about with not taking games in shrink wrap. If the customer provides a receipt you can absolutely take a sealed game in trade. Such a weird thing to lie about.

Plastic wrap being removed from a game does not make it used/preowned. Why are so many people afraid to just say “no thank you” and move along? It’s always gotta be so dramatic when GameStop has done this practice for decades.

Dang, I thought I had a low end bundle. None of those games are AAA at all. I got Metro Exodus, Mr. Prepper(???) And Secret Neighbor.
