See AllInfinity Nikki Seems to Be Deducting Player Currency
As for the tutorial, it could be that some players asked for changes in the tutorial, though this is merely speculation. Finally, it's ALSO possible that someone asked for a better story, so they revamped it. Though whether it turned out better or not depends on point of view. If you're the self-inserting type of player, you might not like a non-first person story, for example. But others would like it.
Infinity Nikki Seems to Be Deducting Player Currency
Personally and professionally, my opinion about this issue as a computer scientist, analyst, designer and programmer, is that this 1.5 Update of Infinite Nikki from what I've read is nothing big of an issue. Do know that 1.4 to 1.5 is a huge leap, as the second number represents a Major Update, while the 3rd number represents a Minor Update. The 1st number is of course Version. After Minor Update, there is also Build, which differs from company to company. So for a program as big as Infinite Nikki, going from 1.4 to 1.5 is bound to produce at least some bugs, some of which might be major bugs. One of them is this underflow bug that sends players into the negative currency amounts after the deduction for exploiting bugs in the game for their own benefit which is against the T&C of just about every online or offline game. Remember that you are being tracked as doing so is easy and necessary to maintain fairness for all other players. So if a player breaks the T&C of a game then gets deducted, it's only fair and right, and if there happens to be an underflow bug like in Infinite Nikki v1.5 that locks them out once they get sent into the negative, I'd call it karma. You do wrong, it comes back round to bite you. I'm not sorry for you. You broke the rules first. Also, game companies need to pay SALARIES to their programmers, developers, designers, graphics artists, scriptors, music composers, among many, many other things, including the project manager. I know this because I helped develop a 3D MMORPG before back in college. There's a lot of effort and work that goes into the development of a computer game, even if it's just a mobile game. Even more so for console games and PC games. The most effort is required for multi-platform supporting video games. As for the Dye system, it could be that they need to make money to pay their workers to maintain the game. Running and maintaining games, game servers and Internet lines is NOT free.
