Only if Elon is monumentally stupid. The ship has sailed on controlling D&D qua Hasbro...Hasbro only has the IP.

The game itself is a multi-billion dollar industry and between SRDs, Creative Commons, 3rd-party publishers, 3rd party manufacturing of play materials, and nearly 100% of media presence being via licensing deals and live-plays like Dimension 20 and Critical Role...Hasbro controls only a small part of it. It doesn't control the part that interests Elon, if his objective is to turn back the clock. Let's be clear about this...if Elon buys Hasbro for D&D, he's going to quickly learn he has much less influence on D&D than Matt Mercer or Brennan Lee Mulligan.

Ultimately, the community will dictate with their dollars, eyes, and feet the direction of the future (and "wokeness") of D&D and does not give a S about the opinions of Elon Musk, Jason Tondro, or the legacy of Gary Gygax.
