I disagree with the blackbeard statement has blackbeard was unable to completely nullify neither ace nor whitebeards fruit. I work once and twice then fail afterwards, also even without overly relying on his fruit luffy has show case feats far superior to blackbeard. When he fought kaido on the roof using pure haki he was able to keep up while blackbeard was consistently shown to be heavily disadvantaged when fighting strong haki users, even law could keep up with blackbeard in a 1vs1 while being unable to when fighting big mom and kaido in a 1vs1. The fact that law who is not as good at utilizing haki as luffy only lost because of his overly dependence on his fruit which blackbeard can temporarily negate speak alot.
