Solo Leveling is overrated. Sure guy gets beaten to the nth degree in the beginning, but from there it was as if he was playing on easy mode. I'd much rather have "Leveling Up Alone" as an adoption. That MC has a personality of a guy from the bottom just trying to get by, even after he gets an assisted awakening. And each encounter and fight is a tangible threat to his life as well as a his friends and family. No non-emotional hollow reaction, but appropriate actions to messed up situations. Not overly serious, not overly cowardly or timid, just a guy at the end of his rope.
