Mechanical changes are fine but in all reality if they remade final fantasy 8 they should make it the way it was intended It was released as a 60 70% completed game at best A lot of things were cut and a lot of things don't make sense The Laguna and squall dynamic was supposed to be much more in-depth and very clear on the fact that he was his father and most likely the party switching at ultamecia is probably would have been between Laguna's team and squalls team or something of the light so if they did eight I'd want it with the entire intended story not the rushed out story to make a buck that FF8 even though I absolutely adore the game
