Unpopular opinion I know but I would actually love to see Leon and Helena together, if not as a couple at least as partners again for old time's sake, they were really cute in resident evil 6 and they actually had a lot of chemistry and were in the entire game together and I think the amount of times they both saved each other rivals Ada, I do understand why people ship Ada and Leon because it's been a thing since 1998, but usually she's not around very long only for a few minutes, almost always on the opposing side of Leon sometimes even having to use him to progress with her mission or objectives, and she has saved him before which is honestly nice for her character since they don't have too much screen time together but honestly just feels like a tease or an out of reach or unreachable ideal which I think Capcom has leaned into a lot, she's either meant to be a tease and nothing more, a want that Leon can never have, or they're just doing it to eventually have a really big moment of closure whether it's them getting together or them never getting together. Not really a lot of people talk about Helena and Leon but they have honestly I think the most screen time together compared to any other resident evil girl, and that includes Claire since she's elsewhere outside of the RPD while Leon is primarily inside it, they have shared trauma, they're honestly a lot alike and they we're there for each other in more ways than one in the game and Helena is honestly a really nice match for Leon and not unreachable since she has openly flirted with him and admitted/alluded to falling for him. Like I said this is just my opinion, it's okay if you don't agree with it but I thought I'd share even if it's unlikely I would love for them to bring her back someday:]
