Agreed. Matt Reeves is a gifted director who's proven as much time and time again. I can wait as long as it takes for him to deliver a sequel of the quality of The Batman. I doubted that we'd ever get a live action film that delivered versions of the Riddler and Penguin that were so chilling.

Keeping it separate from Gunn's DCU films is fine with me. Like the Nolan films, this take on Batman works better in a reality where there are no metahumans.

But don't get me wrong, I believe in James Gunn. The Suicide Squad, Peace Maker, and Creature Commandos were excellent fun & I can't wait to see Superman in July.
