The real issue with this anniversary is there's no reasonable way to purchase the *original* collection! We don't need a remake for "modern audiences". Every time I come across a promising collection, it turns out to be a bootleg, i.e. The Playtech-Asia set. I'd love to be proven wrong on this!

The morality system is a core mechanic of the Fable series. It's part of what made Fable, Fable. Removing that mechanic fundamentally changes the game away from what it was meant to be. This fad of changing what made something "the thing" for the sake of change or for "modern audiences" needs to stop. People gravitate towards things for reasons. Remove those reasons and pitchforks will ensue.

All they have to do is add a PVE toggle and that would make everyone happy. It would simply disable player damage, increase ARC health, and matchmake all those with the toggle set. It would *not* affect the existing PvPvE mode and be purely additive. It'd be a win-win for everyone. Those who enjoy the current formula still get to play that way. Those who hate toxic, backstabbing PVP encounters would be able to play care-free. There is no downside for *trying this* to see how it goes. Countless people would start playing again if there were a dedicated PVE mode *in addition to* the existing PvPvE mode.
