Joel's death felt like it was pulled out of RR Martin's worst impulses. Yes, it was in the game, but it was also the reason people hated the game. Why do it again???!!! And to have Abby, who is just such an annoying character, kill him in such a way? Just eyerolling dumb. Ellie herself was getting pretty annoying. The season has been a complete turn off. This is coming from someone who cried several times during the Nick Offerman episode. Seeing this through at this point would be for masochists. I can't imagine WB isn't going to end up cancelling the show.
