My family sure didn't lol. I played San Andreas arguably too young, but I came out fine...I think lmao. I'd argue it has something to do with how impressionable certain kids are, at least in terms of whether ANYTHING is appropriate to show them early. Jeeper Creepers scared me more than San Andreas had any impact on me as a kid lmao.

This is inaccurate, friend. Shadows' weather system is far more detailed than Skull and Bones, AC3, and tons of other Ubisoft + general games.

Asset reuse is fine 90% of the time. Will it be here? That's to be determined, sure, but if it's not broken, if it doesn't need to be brand new, why should it be? Do you honestly think the average person is going to be like "oh no, this one ship was also in Skull and Bones" or are they going to be concerned with how fun the game is? Asset reuse does no harm and allows for more resources to be applied elsewhere, where it matters 10x more than developers spending time on asset development.

A I think you and I would probably agree on who we feel the investors are, but until that point (release), marketing right now is less about who's buying it and more about who is currently funding it. I do get your point about the shark cards though, so I would be interested in those numbers as well. I'd imagine they're big on both sides.

There's no such thing as "absolutely zero chance" that anything gets delayed in the game industry. People were saying this about the May date, too. Obviously we disagree, but im telling you now, I don't think it makes the November date at all.

David Well, you're not OP, but I'll ask the same question. Can you articulate that further? I don't think it's the best, but I think it's head and shoulders over many others. Really curious why you think it's "easily one of the worst games" and why it's "dreadful."

Nope. I remember playing Ocarina of Time most out of any of the games when I was younger, Oracle of Ages and Seasons too, and beyond those, any others are too fuzzy to know which were which. I can pretty confidently say I didn't play PH or Link Between Worlds as a kid.
