Hard to say because when I was a kid renting video games was so big hard to remember all the titles I've played.

I did buy Secret of Mana and FF7. Although FF7 held a special spot in my life it wasn't the first. Secret of Mana dominated my childhood. What a game it was for a 9 year old.

We use to just call them RPG games back then but I was playing so many of them not sure if Secret of Mana was first.
