It sounds like the first episode is going to be like an alien abduction episode where Verada's character is going to be kidnapped by an alien menace. The Doctor shows up, outstanding to the alien menace, and tries to take Verada's character home, but something is wrong with the Tardis. Neither it, nor the Doctor knows exactly where it will land at any given time (a nod back to the Classic series) and the Doctor has to solve this mystery to get back to Earth as some one or something is mucking around with his favorite planet!
