I was disappointed Venturas didn’t appear in GTA V (didn’t expect to see Fierro) but think the state of San Andreas should take a back seat for a while. I’d rather see smaller but more plentiful locations like in Red Dead (obviously that worked better in the old west but much of America is small town/space, so you could make it work in modern times). If (when) they return to Liberty City I would actually argue for a more New England setting than NY; have a couple “smaller” cities, use the coast properly, but get that northeastern vibe. Not every crime has to be a heist; if it is, fuck it, steal from some rich dude that hoarded his money or something. A lot of ways to do it but I think NE over NY if they head back that way. Won’t happen, but still like the idea.
