Kind of funny you mentioned Inquisition over Veilguard and glossed over BG3 and even Avowed. Both are also leagues better than CP's creation as well and you can see your character like the other examples. Versus forced first person beyond looking in a mirror.

Technically we got two branching types. Paper Mario which kept the different companions and went a more paper asthetic, and Mario & Luigi which kept a regular (albeit brighter and more cartoon with each entry) asthetic but kept Mario and Luigi as the sole party members.

Honestly, a Verso themed DLC that ends in tragedy would be great. It could even be bits from his various adventures and end right at that pivotal moment when you meet him in the game. With all that we know about him, the distrust some Expeditions had with him, the constant back and forths to Lumirère, the various places he's been...there's a lot to work with for a solid Verso DLC.

Another commenter mentioned Clea DLC, and I think that should be a full fledged secondary game exploration versus just DLC...since I'm super curious about the lore behind the Painters being able to do what they do, let alone what that means the Writers may be able to possibly do.

I doubt Infamous: Second Son will get a PS5 edition. Sony seems content in having the series be dead after Second Son and First Light came out...beyond putting the latter as one of their past Essentials titles, and having the original 2.5 games available on Premium.

I'd love to see actual renewed interest in the series, but it probably won't happen for a while.

Yeah, I dished out a bit more for the Deluxe edition, which was still a great price and has been well worth every penny. They could have charged the typical new game + Deluxe Edition prices and I more than likely would still buy it.

Yeeeeah, even if they went with remaking the P4 Golden title specifically, they'd still find a way to chop something and turn it into DLC...if not just having straight up 2 different editions to choose to buy.

But one thing you can more than likely count on is that where the remake title of 3 was Reload, 4's will almost certainly be Rerun.

That's like saying Lavitz's death in Legend of Dragoon was pointless because you immediately got Albert as a replacement for him. But you know what? Lavitz's death was still a shock when it happened.

It's alright to let a dead character get replaced in games...even a character we had spent well over half the adventure with. It doesn't cheapen the adventure if they come in having all the same stats and abilities (which...FF5 actually explained. Galuf said one last goodbye and left behind a memento that magically imbued her with his abilities. She didn't just get them suddenly out of nowhere when she joined the party).

Also...Joshua was the Phoenix. Why is it surprising that a character tied to an Eidolon modeled after a mythical creature all about dying and being reborn from its ashes would...possibly come back after sacrificing himself?

...we don't need a remaster this early in for it, it's not even 6 years old yet. Frogwares should focus on proper remasters of their older titles, such as many of their PC/old console locked Sherlock Holmes titles like the Jack the Ripper or Case of the Silver Earring titles...or at worst a remaster of Crime and Punishments since that one is over a decade old.

I'd hope they revamped the companions a bit. Sebastian was fantastic, and Natty was overall fine even if Sebastian had a more interesting backstory.

Amir and Poppy were virtually pointless, and the game would have gone on just fine without them (especially Amir). They were potentially great characters that I wish we got to spend more time with...and likewise had gotten the chance to choose as our dueling partner/Hogsmeade guide (as a Raveclaw, I really didn't want Natty OR Sebastian for those).

I doubt they'll fix it in DLC, but I hope for HL2 that the all the houses have a character that you can hang with for duels and whatnot as well as having an interesting character arc...versus only 2 of the houses getting that.

Yeah, I'm there as well. Like, I actually did enjoy TLOU as well as Horizon ZD...but they didn't need remasters/remakes. TLOU Pt 1 still looked gorgeous with the PS4 remaster, and HZD didn't really look different despite the supposed updated mo-cap.

This game is barely almost 6 years old, and looks just like the current og version on PS4. These studios need to slow down and go back to older games if they're going to go the remake/remaster route. A game should be a decade old minimum before even being considered for it.

As much as I love Uncharted and Heavy Rain...they have PS4 remasters, playable on PS5.

Let's stick with old console locked games (including stream-only Premium titles). Another commenter suggested Puppeteer, which I 100% agree with.

I'd also add 3D Dot Heroes, and quasi remakes (IE enhanced 2D/2.5D versus full 3D) of games like Breath of Fire 3 and 4 as well as Legend of Legaia.

Correction: When you go to the Pre-Orders section on PS5, it comes up as incompatible with the PS5 and only playable on the PS4.

Hoping that changes closer to release date, but as of now it's PS4 only.

A couple of the reason the Quidditch game didn't do well is that:

A) For some folks it felt like a watered down Quidditch World Cup that just felt like it was lacking something.

B) It was a continual reminder that it was also a huge missed opportunity to have been in Hogwarts Legacy, since they opted to just keep it out and give a lackluster reasoning to omit it from the game (imagine if it was part of HL, and you could choose to be a specific position in the team). I'm personally hoping HL2 remedies this and makes it part of the Hogwarts experience.

To be fair, a "live action" Pac-Man sounds like it'd be a disaster. Pac-Man would look like nightmare fuel in a realistic coat of paint versus animated. The ghosts, unless they're altered to look more human or like ones in Casper, would look silly and out of place in a live action setting...even if they also were given a realistic coat of paint.

The only way a live action movie would work is if they basically copied the Minecraft movie (IE things looking fantastical and off because they're brought into the game).

Honestly, 16 was fine imo up until that last fight in the Leviathan DLC where you had to have 100% perfect timing to a tee or you died. That was quite possibly one of the most aggrivating random changeups to where I gave up on ever finishing the DLC, and despite the devs and VAs hyping it up, it completely soured the DLC for me, let alone my overall view of the game.

FFIX is still my favorite love letter to the franchise, and X was arguably the last truly stellar one imo (though 12 wasn't awful).

Start backwards like RE did. Remaster Phantasia to at least the PS version's quality since that one had a Japan only release. Then move to Destiny and ACTUAL Destiny 2 (another Japan only one). Move on to Eternia.

Or better yet, have a collection that includes Phantasia, Destiny 1 and 2, and Eternia. Then focus on the big remaster projects at the same time with Xillia and Xillia 2 as a dual set, Abyss, Legendia, etc...

Even if it's another remastered port of the og 3 games and a remastered port of the Future trilogy, I wish R&C was getting more love versus being locked to PS Premium beyond Rift Apart (which was awesome), the okay side titles, and the mediocre rebook/reimagined title.

If Sly Cooper (aside from the PS3 sequel...which I hope we see a remaster for) and Jak and Daxter can get buyable ports outside of PS+ Premium, then R&C...at least the og 3 games, we can get the same treatment for.
