All I can say is it shows that Akira was directly involved in this series. It was like a homage to the original storyline and to the evolution of the Saiyan warriors. It was just absolutely everything we loved about growing up with Dragonball & DBZ. Dont get me wrong I like some of the fun storylines DB Super has given us but its been disappointing for the fans to have these "new transformations" when all they are actually giving us is a different hair color or skin color in Frieza's case. It just felt really nice to witness and see how far the Saiyan warriors can keep going.
