Hoyo ever abandoning new element development, due to trickiness, would be a major disappointment - while point of game development is to make what sounds impossible.

If they move into other projects, GI will be dead in the water. Annoying they wouldn't try to expand the game more than the routine updates - you can say they might add more but based off the past five years they've done just the same thing over and over - new storylines and copy pasted the abyss. Once UGC is live at end of year, I that'll be their excuse to only add more story and new abysses, nothing new, same stuff always.... Never develop a new feature. (Even adding an element shouldn't be all that bad) They should add Oblivion co-op hell portals, like pop-up co-op
