Aw technically SS4 is still none canon to manga or the actual anime of series and probably never will be for SS4 was made by different artists and author who were given go ahead to do it.Akira might have made non canon shout out to it but I don’t think it will ever be canon to actual series as a whole.

Nah goku still stronger I think it was Akira Toriyama way of giving gohan fan the best of him,there reason why Akira moved on from gohan in buu saga back to goku I think if Akira was still alive we see by now stronger form of Goku
