There were 200k less peak PC players playing the open beta compared to the closed beta, but sure, it’s only PC players that aren’t reviving you when you’re down.

The entire game felt off this past weekend. It made me cancel my preorder because it felt so different and I don’t think it’s because the PC players got halved.

Good lord dude, put down the PS koolaid. Helldivers was a day 1 release on PC and PC makes up 2/3 of the active player base. The game also barely maintains 100k players (if they even still are) and barely cracked a million players during launch. This isn’t Fortnite or COD that gamers need. Don’t get me wrong, Helldivers is kind of cool (I bought it at launch) but it isn’t a game that made thousands of people buy a PlayStation or some cultural revolution that people are trying to copy.

Them going to Xbox is a way to inject some new players and longevity into literally the only live service game that hasn’t crashed and burned that PlayStation has produced the last few years. Concord was a historic disaster and Marathon got absolutely wrecked by Arc Raiders. It’s also one of the few first party games PS has even launched the last few years. I’ve kept my PS5 alongside my PC for its exclusives which has proven to be a waste of space on my desk as there hasn’t been a single game I’ve bought on it in years and the only game on the horizon is ghost of Yotei.

If you want to run around as a very bright cartoon in COD, go for it, you’re easier to see for all of your opponents so I’m sure they’ll appreciate it. I personally like some of the crossovers but i absolutely refuse to pay for a premium LTM. Also, whoever designed the mil-spec Beavis and Butthead skins needs a retry because those are terrible looking.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve played 1000’s of hours of COD multiplayer, Warzone snd all the COD campaigns starting with the OG COD1 and I still have no idea who any of these characters are.

This game is way too focused on online multiplayer. I only did a handful of online races in MK8 and really wasn’t planning on doing any online racing in this game either and it seems like most of the new features are all geared toward that which is pretty disappointing.

I’m actually playing this game for the first time and I haven’t been this hooked on a game in awhile. I really hope they remaster Fallout 3 and Skyrim now after seeing how great this game looks and feels compared to Skyrim especially.

I just watch his clips on his YouTube channel. I don’t want to give a dime to the purple snakes. That platform can fold tomorrow and the world would probably be a better place.

If this feature comes back I’m skipping an COD for the first time since infinite warfare. Every leak and rumor just strengthens the idea that Activision and its COD devs hate their player base and do not play their own game. It’s just amazing how horrible they have and continue to make this game.

Oh no, they might not integrate the new multiplayer into Warzone?!? This is literally what everyone is asking for. After vanguards integration no one wanted, the horrific WZ 2.0 and now the disastrous integration of BO6 into WZ, I think the player base as a whole wants them to stop integrating the current COD into Warzone.

Keeping it the same with continuous improvements is LITERALLY what everyone wants. I am so tired of it taking 6 months each year for the game to get into a good state right before they ruin it again with an integration.

This is hilarious considering the Meta in Warzone for all of BO6 has been almost entirely one SMG and one AR at a time so don’t you think every kill cam will have the same guns? Maybe this will entice them to make more more guns viable.

Can we stop talking about steam numbers as if it’s a definitive sign of player counts? Steam is easily the smallest player base for Warzone/BO6 and has been consistently shown to have at best 2/3 the frame rates of Battle.net and PC Xbox. Any somewhat serious player is going to switch to a different launcher for COD almost specifically because of this, especially for Warzone since it’s free and people take that a lot more seriously. I know at least 4 people personally who have switched because of this and I can’t imagine I’m alone.

This game may go down as one of the worst sequels in the history of gaming. They missed the mark on almost every single aspect of this game. So disappointing. We tried to get back into it a few weeks ago and after a few hours we were just like, this ain’t it.
