Unfortunately the rental decks are not very good. They have way too many Pokemon, including some that are not all that useful. I basically had to just slightly modify my Mega Venusaur deck. Not quite as good a deck, but serviceable for these battle tasks. Then just delete the extra deck when I need the space.
