Verdansk is not any other map in CODs BR library, or any other BR map for that matter. Warzone came out at near the exact same time the world was shutting down in March of 2020. Warzone was not just another video game for some of us. When we were forced to stay in the confines our own homes, Verdansk was a world to us where we could still be free. We made new friends from across the world, explored every inch of the seaport terrain, and battled the sweats, the cheaters, and the pandemic together. Verdansk was our home.

When Verdansk left, a part of myself left too. My attachment was not towards the game, it was towards the community of friends that grew around me. I'm not redownloading Warzone because of Verdansk. I'm redownloading Warzone because I want to go back home.
