Ironically I find kcd easier than souls like games. Honestly I don't enjoy soulslike games in general but I would never expect them to dumb it down for me. They just aren't for me and that is okay. The game devs don't owe me or anyone else anything they make the game they want and either we like it or we don't that is the end of it. Anything else is just maximizing profit.

I like games with high fidelity graphics and I like games that are more stylistic. It doesn't have to be one or the other. I like being immersed in a realistic world but I also like the magic of a less overwrought game as well. I loved cyberpunk but Gris is also a favorite.

They could have easily bypassed it by both making the children unkillable and making you get killed by the authorities and having to load a save.They lock you up for not carrying a torch so child murder should probably make more of an impact.

Yasss, it really is satisfying. I love climbing above a camp and taking people out with arrows. Even better if you can do it without being fully detected. Also, thinning them out and butchering the rest with a sword is a ton of fun. I prefer that to just running up and chopping as sword play isn't that fun in elder scrolls.
