See AllNintendo Obtains New Anti-Palworld Patent and Seeks Even More
To be honest the fact that Nintendo is going through all these lengthy measures of trying to get what they want is ridiculous, pathetic, vague, bullying and very petty.
Pokemon is not the very first franchise to exist with capturing digital creatures known as Pokemon in ball-like objects of any kind or even battle creatures in any kind of environment, there are a whole lot of other franchises out there that are also monster catcher game creators that which also use the very mechanics that Pokemon Legends Arceus uses, although Palworld didn’t exist right away until after Nintendo launched and released Pokemon Legends Arceus.
Palworld was released on January 19, 2024 while Pokemon Legends Arceus was released on January 28, 2022 but at the same time Pokemon Legends Arceus didn’t use the 3D Space/Environment originally until after Palworld started using it which of course both Palworld and Pokemon Legends Arceus were not the 1st to use creature catching and battling in a 3D Space/Environment until after Craftopia which was the actual 1st game to use the 3D Space/Environment for virtual creatures and for capturing creatures in the same space and environment.
Nintendo needs to lose this lawsuit against PocketPair, so that way they can get back to focusing their attention more on making good games again instead of being sue-happy and going after those who they see as competitors, while at the same time not putting out good games like they once did before.
