Yet big changes are still made in invincible. Adaptations need to change things or they’ll be too predictable, if they did the walking dead like the comics, everything death would be seen a mile away and what’s the point then? It’s a survival show it thrives on suprises and twists. Shows aren’t fun if you know what’s gonna happen, the walking dead made changes like EVERY ADAPTATION,(they removed the Russia section from the beginning of the boys which is a small but important arc) I can name a dozen adaptations that made big changes yet they were critiqued for the same decisions. The show would be pointless for comic readers and the comics would be pointless

for people who only watched the shows, the walking dead was and still is hugely successful and damn right it is, it earned it thru making a separate but still familiar adaptation
