Let's be honest, they completely destroyed the dark tower movie with the actors they chose to portray Roland. Ots not being racist, but in every other chapter of the books, it describes Roland having pale completion, bombadier blue eyes and long scruffy black hair. Just the first movies could have been bigger that the lord of the rings or the Hobbits trilogy
