This article was pointless. In actuality, Daryl used several different crossbows throughout the series. Some are much different. If the Horton was so important to him, he wouldn't lose it, or upgrade to others as the series progressed. It would be a huge loss. The real question is why is he so keen on crossbows to begin with? It's a very particular weapon to choose, and he always makes sure to get a new one. That is where his past comes into play, not a particular model he once used.
