The Sky island arc is probably the worst arc but the fact that luffy is his kryptonite felt very Pokémon to me. I mean if you took the strongest rubber substance and push a million volts into it, It would melt… so lightning guy should have won
as for kaido, I think the fact that all of a sudden luffy a fruit is a zoan type was weak yet the natural progression.
