The characters and story are still unmatched since to this day by square, it was so mysterious, dark and emotionaly deep for my child brain. They've kind of gone the way of Disney increasingly since 7 and played it safe avoiding trauma

I have no dog in the race, woke, not woke, dosn't bother me. Objectively the game is fine... Just, fine. Not great, not bad. Just okay? I tend to think it wasn't made for the older fans, we're what mid 30's to late 40's now? But this game feels like it was written for teenagers. It's very hard to play sometimes just from the writing style they went with. Feels very immature, and treated me like an idiot in alot of parts. But I wouldn't call it "bad"
