The grind isn’t so bad as your weapons do not reset. If you have relic tier weapons you still have relic tier weapons after the prestige reset. A lot of weapons have good perks so you’re not completely without perks at level 1. I was soloing ruthless as a level 1 bulwark and it was completely doable. It maybe took six games or so to get back to level 25. Prestige perks aren’t a necessity to play the game but can help on absolute difficulty. I’m not sure what all the fuss is about. I think it was a great addition to the game and gives players the opportunity to level up their favourite classes even more.
