Honestly, I think it would be a huge mistake on Nintendo’s part to NOT create a brand new Animal Crossing game. First of all, they inadvertently targeted an untapped audience (ie: old farts like me that are over 50). And, with the majority of players being adults and enjoying the ability to customize and being so creative with their islands, it gives them freedom of artistic expression. All they need do is watch YouTube videos to see what amazing things people are doing, see what people would like to be able to do that they can’t… And it’s the adults that can afford these expensive games, not children. They’d be losing out and losing money to not create a new game.
