RE games almost always have a female and male protagonist, but the last 3 games (counting the remake of the 4th) we've had almost a full sausage party. So what's so shocking about having Grace after Winters? If you're talking about connections with previous games, then among the main characters of the 6th was the grown-up girl from the 2nd and Vesker's son, lmao.

A lot of people don't watch this because it's a little known show, it feels like a bit of an outdated battle shonen, and the MC acts like a total bully who literally forces the villain to become evil himself, even though it's presented as something brave and heroic. It's just confusing.

You are confusing the announcement date with the anime's creation date. Some shows are announced a couple of months before the premiere, when they are already fully prepared for broadcast.

Not so much new as a strong expansion of the finale. But it is noteworthy that disappointed fans are already desperately joking about wanting to ask Horikoshi to rewrite the ending for Oshi no Ko or JJK. One way or another, no matter how “happy” Aka was, he really threw the creators of anime and live action under the bus.

Are you laughing? Should fans take comfort in the fact that the author is happy with the ending? Maybe the author should be concerned about making the fans happy, and not the other way around? What kind of immature selfishness is this?! It's like saying that restaurant patrons should console themselves with the fact that even though the food was bad, the chef was clearly happy that he finished the cooking the way he wanted. "He had this in mind all along" really deserves to become the universal meme excuse for any poorly written ending. Not to mention, considering WHAT kind of ending we're talking about, saying you're HAPPY is just blasphemous. Or is he happy that he was able to push through his wish no matter what, even if it was poorly written and the fans hated it?

Neither I nor many other Oshi no Ko fans participated in the bullying of Aya Hirano and even condemned it. Hell, many Oshi no Ko fans were even kids at the time. An attempt to take revenge on us, his own fandom, for the people who once offended his beloved VA many years ago?! Your theory does not make Aka a badass vigilante, in fact you accuse him of ruining his own career for the sake of revenge on people who are not objectively to blame for any potential offense against him.

Also, even if he wanted to, there is no way he could logically do it, because it's the Aka's ending that ruins the shipping and the series itself by making fans hate it. This is like when OnlyFans models trying to reproach men for being overly excitable and interested in lewd things. You have no right to blame and complain about a toxic fandom when you purposefully poisoned it yourself through your actions. Not to mention, it's just as pointless as Aqua's suicide, because if Aka really meant it that way, he basically shot in the head of his own career and reputation as an author.

As for inspiration, even if we ignore the fact that Death Note sets up character deaths in a much better and more meaningful way, Oshi no Ko rather looks like an unjustifiably edgy and pessimistic version of ERASED.
