See All6 Racing Games With The Best Sense Of Speed
I'll have to disagree with 5 of the 6 games shown.
Driveclub was not really showing any sense of speed and handling characteristics was downright appalling. There was a good reason why it's removed.
NFS Shift was not portrayed with speed. It was portrayed with the intensity of Touring car racing. And even after these years. I say it's a game dedicated for the thrill of racing.
NFS Heat and Unbound have not shown the slightest hint of speed. Having played NFS games since Carbon. The latest Street racing games are only utter garbage. EA have at least managed to get Unbound into a decent state so props for them.
TDU Solar Crown.... Anyone who is someone has already spoken negatively. And I'm adding fuel to the fire with perhaps the most controversial claim: "You're not allowed to go fast" past 100mph the world rendering falters, causing you to be frozen in place for 1-20 seconds while rest of the world just strolls by. Racing feels outright banned.
A game I straight up agree with showing speed. Split Second Velocity. Even to this day I love the game for it's downright epic racing with angry rivals. Disney scrapping the title is perhaps the costliest mistake they have done. And they better ban me from their theme parks as I refuse to be happy. Split Second Velocity NEEDS and MUST be revived or remastered. That game straight up is awesome. And that racing genre has to be reactivated. Tho this time let's make it 20 cars in the epic destruction racing.
