I don't think there will be much trouble paying for the game if the playerbase deems it worthy, something similar to coins in former FIFA, now EA FC. I'm definitely going to play it first and then see what all the fuss is about, since the market is already plagued with games that expect you to pay up copious amounts of money first, then see if you like the game.
