I completely agree with you Mr Sean! There is nothing wrong with a show taking it's time but Frieren gets too slow especially at the mage exam arc which is my biggest gripe. Not to mention the anime is not 100% finished which means we don't know the ending so how can anyone declare it as the best anime ever?

A lot of writing? The writing itself isn't something of a marvel. It is good yes but nothing that special. Frieren is good but that's it, just good. Saying it is the best anime ever when it hasn't even finished is just plain wrong. Not to mention the entirety of the mage exam arc was super boring. The first half while being slow actually felt good up until the mage exam but from that it just went stale.
