I think it is a fine idea. The game isn't set up to have you sit there and do one area over and over and over again simply to farm enemies.

I mean heck I ended up finishing some quests before I even knew about them because I went exploring.

People act like you gotta just sit there and try and farm in games to make yourself so overpowered that the whole thing ends up a cake walk.
